What is West Game?
Welcome to the Wild West!
West Game is a Strategy & City-Building mobile game, set in the rough-and-tumble Frontier—a world of heroes, outlaws, guns, glory, and gold.
In West Game, as a new settler (and Boss), you’re tasked with building, expanding, and protecting your nascent, self-founded Town—establishing presence, territory, and reputation in a lawless, untamed land. Can you battle the elements and dominate the Frontier?
During this journey, you can expect to:
- Build Your Town: Collect resources, upgrade buildings, construct a Town, and claim a corner of the Frontier for your own.
- Defeat The Frontier: Conquer this blood-soaked wildland, and its bevy of threats—from rugged terrain, and roaming Bandits, to lawless invaders, and rival Towns.
- Form A Gang: Meet, recruit, and upgrade a roster of dust-forged Heroes. Form a lethal gang, and direct them in service of your goals.
- Train An Army: Acquire, train, and deploy a massive army to protect your Town, and to annihilate your foes. Guns are the best form of diplomacy.
- Compete Against Players: The Frontier runs on the ambitions of the brave. Reach out to other players—forge partnerships, and ratify Alliances—or march to war, for power and blood.

User Interface
Managing a Town—maintaining order, and constant growth—is integral to success in West Game. The Town View serves as your homepage. This is where you will perform Town management actions, and increase your Town power. In the Town View, you can construct, upgrade, access, and arrange your Buildings. You may also train Troops, upgrade Heroes, complete Research, and more.
| Profile: Access your Profile by tapping the Avatar image in the top left corner of Town View. Your Profile shows important stats, and provides access to key elements of your ascent. Manage your Gear, add Skill Points, view your Army, and more. | |
| Chat: The Chat Bar (top of screen) is where you’ll stay connected with other players. Swipe the Chat Bar left or right to switch between Chat Channels, and tap the Chat Bar to open the full Chat Window. | |
| World View—displayed as a Map—is the first icon on your Action Menu. The World View allows you to see (and engage with) the wider world in which your Town is situated. Here, you’ll find other Towns, Resource Tiles, Enemies, and more. | |
| Quest will task you with completing various actions in exchange for Rewards. | |
| Hero will open your Heroes page. From here, you can manage, assign, and upgrade the Heroes that you’ve recruited to your cause. | |
| Alliance will open your Alliance page; this will display information related to your Alliance, and their ongoing endeavors. | |
| Items will open your Inventory, which sorts Items into separate, relevant tabs. |
| Mail will open your Inbox. Special communications, alerts, gifts, or announcements that are sent to your account can be found here. |

Getting Started - Conquering The Frontier
Stake your claim. Mark your territory. Paint your name across the dirt. Here are some useful tips on how to get started in West Game, and how to make fast progress:
Focus On Your Town: Prioritize upgrading your Town Center, and your Resource Buildings. You’ll need a steady income of Resources if you want to expand—and don’t forget to Upgrade your Barracks, to unlock stronger Troops as soon as possible!
- Unlock access to newer, better, and more powerful Buildings.
- Buildings will provide ongoing benefits to your Town, and allow access to new features.
- Upgrading Buildings will improve the benefits they provide.
- In order to upgrade the Town Center—the main HQ of your Town—you will need to meet the level and cost requirements.
Complete Quests: Quests are one of the fastest ways to earn Resources, and other Rewards. Complete them often to strengthen your Town!
Upgrade Your Heroes: Start recruiting Heroes early, and upgrade them whenever you can; Heroes are extremely important to your success, and each one boasts a suite of unique abilities, both within and outside of combat.
Join An Alliance: Joining an Alliance grants access to protection, perks, Resources, and camaraderie; it’s one of the best (and fastest) ways to strengthen your Town, influence, and reputation.
Participate In Events: Make sure to participate in recurring and limited-time Events! These offer great rewards, and are often tied to other special bonuses.

Combat Basics

When politics, gossip, and bureaucracy fail to suffice—which they often do, in the Frontier—there is always war. Much has been achieved by the spilling of blood. A serious Town enforces its authority on threats of violence.
There are two primary types of Combat in West Game: Player vs. Environment (PvE) and Player vs. Player (PvP). Both types of Combat require you to send a March.
- Marches are initiated whenever you send Troops to a Tile on the World Map.
- Sending Marches uses a March Slot. Your Town has a limited number of March Slots based on Research completed.
Player vs. Environment (PvE) Combat: This type of combat can pit your forces against anything from wild animals, to raider gangs, and roaming outlaws—NPC enemies that will make things treacherous while you roam the wildlands.
Player vs. Player (PvP) Combat: This type of combat occurs when attacking another player, defending against another player, or competing for an objective on the World Map.
- You can attack solo by deploying your Troops in a March, or you can coordinate a Rally assault with your Alliance.
- Successfully attacking an enemy Town will allow you to steal a portion of their Resources, and weaken their position.

Heroes
These are the legends of the Frontier—those wildland myths that have stained the dirt with bullets and blood. Heroes (some nicer than others), are yours to train, upgrade, and recruit. Will you collect them all?
Heroes can be used to:
- Provide bonuses to Marching Troops
- Grant passive buffs to your Town
- Defend your Town in Guard Slots
Every Hero has a Class, which defines their specialization:
- Tank Heroes are built for soaking damage, and holding the frontline.
- DPS Heroes are designed to deal the most damage.
- Support Heroes provide crucial buffs and benefits to others.
It’s best to recruit and combine Heroes that have a mix of styles and classes! Heroes also have different rarities: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Upgrading Heroes of a higher rarity will yield stronger benefits in battle.
To advance Hero Star & Skill Levels, you'll need Hero Medals & Insights, which can be obtained from a variety of sources, including Quest Rewards, and Sales.

Research

The academics of your Town work tirelessly; they pore through archives, toil away in laboratories, and patent bleeding-edge technology, all in effort to keep your Town ahead of the competition.Their Research is completed over time and will provide powerful boosts to your Town.
You’ll find Research Trees in the Academy; each Tree will have individual Research ‘Nodes,’ and completing a Node will provide the associated benefits forever.
Resources are required to complete Research, and Speed Ups can be used to complete Research faster. Completing Research will increase your power, acumen, and capabilities in all facets of the game. It is critical for surviving and prospering in the Frontier.

Resources
Resources are used to Construct Buildings, Train/Heal Troops, perform Research, and more. Industriousness should be a Boss’ closest companion.
| Gold is the premium currency in West Game; it is used in nearly every activity that requires Resources. Gain Gold through Quests, Events, Rewards, Gold Mines, and Sales.
|
| Wood is produced in the Logging Camp, and can also be found while Gathering from Resource Tiles on the World Map.
|
| Stone is produced in the Quarry, and can also be found while Gathering from Resource Tiles on the World Map.
|
| Ore is produced in the Mine, and can also be found while Gathering from Resource Tiles on the World Map.
|
| Food is produced on the Farm, and can also be found while Gathering from Resource Tiles on the World Map. |
|
Silver is a valuable currency that can be used to purchase special Items, or quickly complete Construction, Research, and more.
|
| Stamina is used to perform actions on the World Map. |
| Frontier Notes are a Web Store Exclusive Currency that can be used in the Gold Store to acquire Packs, enhance your Town, and increase your power—all at discounted price points, sales, and offers. Getting Frontier Notes through the Web Store will allow you to purchase in-game Packs for a cheaper price. It’s the smarter way to spend!

VIP - The Promise of Fame

In West Game, VIP is a feature that provides massive, special benefits to your Town. VIP Points are used to increase VIP Level, and reaching new VIP Levels will activate VIP status.
The higher your VIP Level, the better your VIP benefits will be. Fame (or infamy) always comes with its rewards. VIP benefits include valuable Daily Gifts, Town Boosts, special features, and more.
Tap on the VIP Icon directly below your Profile Avatar to activate VIP Status and explore the benefits of your VIP Level!

Teleporting

You have the ability to move to another location on the World Map, which can be desirable for various reasons. A Teleport Item is required to Teleport.
Whenever you’re ready to Teleport, tap on an unoccupied space on the World Map, then tap on Teleport, and confirm the use of your Teleport Item.
There are different types of Teleport Items, each with their own uses and restrictions.

Town Shields

Town Shields are hugely important Items that can spell the difference between life or death.
Town Shields must be acquired and activated; once activated, a Town Shield will prevent other players from being able to Attack or Scout your Town for as long as the Shield is active. More powerful Shields will have longer active durations.
This can be immensely beneficial if you need to recover from a previous attack, protect your Resources, or even step away from the game for any length of time.
Town Shields can typically be found in Sales.

Temporary Boosts
The Frontier, and its hierarchy, is ever in flux—so certain situations, opportunities, or catastrophes may require a momentary excess of strength.
Town Boosts obtained through Research, Buildings, and Heroes are permanent and are always applied. However, there are some Boosts, known as Temporary Boosts, that act as the name implies.
Temporary Boosts are Items that can give specific Boosts for limited amounts of time. Using a Temporary Boost Item will consume it and immediately start the timer for that Boost, so be strategic, and make sure to take advantage while it’s active.
You can find Temporary Boosts for almost anything in West Game. Tap on your Town Center to explore all types of Temporary Boosts; tap a specific Boost to obtain it with Gold. They can also be found in Sales, Event rewards, and more.
